A player prop is not a vibe. It is a claim: this human, this game, this defense, this total — over or under a number. Training camp is incomplete data under a hot sun. Grade a line with information the player has not earned in a real regular-season week and you are not analyzing. You are guessing with better branding.
On X the camp discourse does what it always does — anoint, bury, re-anoint. Fantasy accounts list names to “buy.” Betting previews obsess over holdouts. None of that is evil. Incomplete is fine if you label it incomplete. Incomplete becomes a con when it is sold as a verdict.
